Inktober 2025

I've been dealing with art block for some time (not because of AI, though it doesn't help) and Inktober was my way of getting back into the groove. Initially, I'd considered going back to my roots with ink and paper, but I'd made a New Years resolution to go paperless, which I've adhered to apart from some Post-It notes on a trash can full of discarded 3D prints. Then I'd considered using my Mobiscribe e-paper tablets, but getting images off of them is a bit tedious. In the end, I opened Affinity Designer (v2.6.4) for the first time in months and used it almost exclusively. Inkscape was used in at least one because of its stamp tool, and SketchUp was used to make reference models to draw over and match shadows.
